Precise large-size milling
The 5-axis CNC machine tool of the Lambda series, in the class of large-size CNC milling machines, represents the VTS series of smaller sizes. The difference is due to the transition between the size ranges and the size of the available workspace.
Both types of these machines are constructions with a movable bridge that moves along the track, situated on beams resting on rows of columns. The working heads are equipped with electro-spindles selected according to the production needs in a given case and can have a power of several to several kilowatts (kW). To speed up the exchange of cnc tools, several types of magazines are available (including revolver, linear), which can be mounted on a stand or as a frame sliding out of a recess in the side wall of the housing or suspended under the beam of a movable bridge.
Due to the variety of applications, these 5-axis CNC milling machines can be equipped with work tables, enabling the processing of specific objects, such as, for example, plates, rings, rolls and other solids.
In order to secure the required working conditions, in the case of processing very dusty materials, these machines can be equipped with:
a complete casing with a fixed or folding roof (bellows type) that moves with the machine bridge
dust extraction hood with smooth positioning in 5 axes

It is perfect as a machine for the production of large-format advertisements, the production of elements for sailing yachts, motor boats and aircraft parts, in foundry pattern shops and in the production of all kinds of other thermoforming molds, rotomoulding molds and large-size models in the armaments, automotive, railway and shipbuilding industries.
