FULL DESCRIPTION OF LATHE VENUS 200
Numerically controlled lathe Venus 200 is a modern, precise and at the same time highly efficient machine tool, designed according to the latest trends in the construction of this class of machines. Important elements affecting the technical and operational parameters of the machine include:
The design of the Venus 200 lathe is based on a real beveled cast iron bed, which, thanks to a proper ribbing, ensures very high rigidity of the machine. No special preparation is required for the foundation of a Venus lathe, all you need is a fair-level industrial floor, on which you can place the machine on leveling cushions.
On the basis of many years of experience in the field of machine tool design testing, AFM has developed an optimal angle of bed inclination, on one hand, guaranteeing proper machine rigidity and, on the other hand, good chip flow and relatively small dimensions of this class of machine.
The designer designed one common bed for the Venus family of lathe chuck-chuck, a chuck-rod version without tailstock. As a result, we are more flexible in adapting the final machine configuration to the actual needs of the customer.
In a standard version of the Venus 200 lathe, the headstock is screwed directly to the bed. The spindle is supported by super-precise bearings – three angular-contact ball bearings at the front and two-row roller bearings at the rear.
Control system – To control Venus 200 lathes, AFM uses modern CNC control systems, cooperating with digital drive systems with high dynamics and reliability. It is up to the customer to choose one of the following systems:
For low-cost solutions, AFM uses simplified controls of reputable companies such as Sinumerik 808 or Fanuc 0i Mate TD, which gives the possibility of obtaining a competitive price for the machine while maintaining the full functionality of the machine control.
For more demanding customers, AFM offers Fanuc 0iTD system with Manual Guide software or the Sinumerik 828 system with Shop-turn software facilitating dialog programming, thanks to which programs can be created directly on the machine’s desktop without having to learn traditional programming.
All control systems are equipped with a visual simulation of the machining process.
In addition, a control system simulator can be installed on the PC, configured in the same way as the system on the machine tool.
The control system can be connected as standard to the internal Ethernet network, which facilitates the management of technological programs, as well as allows remote diagnostics of the machine via the Internet.
