FULL DESCRIPTION OF LATHE TAE 35N
The TAE-35N lathe is equipped with an 8, 10 or 12-position tool head. Equipping the head with various types of tool holders depends on the task being performed and should be determined as a result of agreements between the manufacturer and the user.
Using modern control and AC drives, a lathe was obtained for very accurate details with high precision and repeatability of simple or complicated shapes.
The machine has been produced for 6 years. It uses many new innovative solutions. Eco-friendly rolling guides and ball screws for solid grease are a solution that is only entering the wider application.
TAE35N “Hanka” lathe has a new control system from SIEMENS 828D. This control replaces the SINUMERIK 810D control that has been produced for over 10 years. We are one of the first companies to implement this control for their products.
Guides and rolling screws in both axes, lubricated with grease, represent the latest world achievement.
– almost 10-fold reduction of variation in drag resistance of both supports (from 35% to 4%), which greatly improves positioning accuracy and repeatability, and thus machining accuracy;
– reduction by almost 10 dB of noise during fast travel of supports;
– reducing the heating of the guides and, consequently, the machine’s geometric stability;
– even up to several times the durability of the coolant due to the elimination of lubricating oil, guides, and rolling screws, which in CNC lathes with traditional solutions get into the coolant and causes the development of putrid anaerobic bacteria and bad odor;
– increased guide life due to double sealing of the roller blocks.
The design solution of the lathe headstock is also innovative, ensuring increased geometrical stability of the machine.
The headstock is not just one cast screwed directly to the lathe bed as in traditional lathes, but consists of two bodies that allow a mutual partial compensation of thermal deformations resulting from the heating of the machine during cutting – this is the so-called “hammock spindle suspension”, thanks to which it is possible to accurately work the machine without a preheating period, immediately after starting. heating it right after starting it.
In addition, to meet the market demand, we have developed a solution that allows machining of wavy threads or non-circular wobbling. The solution is to build an additional Xs axis drive for the upper cross slide.
The X-axis is the standard lathe feed axis for standard turning operations.
The Xs axis is an additional axis with a travel up to 50 mm only in the upper drawer equipped with a slightly smaller tool head (BTP-63). Due to the smaller mass of the feed unit Xs, it can interpolate with the “C” and “Z” axis with reciprocating movements with very high dynamics.
The solution described above allows turning non-circular surfaces such as corrugated thread surfaces, spiral flange surfaces, e.g. milling cutters, piston ovalization, turnkey flattening etc.
The implementation of interpolation in 3 axes at turning speeds of 600 rpm requires appropriate control options and a fast processor, therefore it requires advanced Fanuc 31i control, which, unfortunately, is reflected in the price of this option.
